Burlington Socks

Burlington Socks contacted PetLondon Models in order to book a few different and striking dog models to pose in a fun yet quirky shots alongside some human models to post on their Instagram and to placed throughout the online store.

Their brief tasked us to suggest some striking dog models to compliment their new vivid colour patterns & designs and wacky models for their completely new collection.

Burlington Socks is a well established global sock brand, well known for their classic argyll patterning and more recently their bright and bold colours. Since 2013, Burlington has been owned by a German company and re-launched as such.

They did want to though keep the English heritage, by shooting in a London location, as seen in the photo above.

After careful consideration five models were chosen:

  • Iraida, a graceful Afghan hound
  • Collin, a stocky English Bull Terrier
  • Eric, a regal Great Dane
  • Lilah, a fluffy Shar Pei
  • Boycie, English Bulldog

The sets were constructed both inside the house and outside on the road were spectacular. The décor inside each room differed but coordinated to a slightly alternative 1930s nostalgia. Appliances and common household items intertwine with metallic futuristic objects. The models were dressed creatively to highlight the uniqueness of the socks whilst posing with their four legged companion.

We captured a few behind the scenes, to give you a look of what happens whilst the models are chilling out. It usually involves lots of treats and cuddles!

Here are a selection of the final photos that were either displayed on Burlington Socks Instagram page or throughout their website: www.burlington.de.

Collin sure seems to be enjoying himself both on and off lead!

Boycie being a rebel on the motorbike and relaxing in the classic Bulldog sitting pose

Lilah, both posing and playful in some wonderfully candid shots

Iraida, the elegant Afghan hound showing off her fun side

Big boy Eric, forming a long lasting relationship with her owner

Overall, a fantastic showcase from all our models, demonstrating how animals can creatively fit into any campaign, no matter what the product or market.

A big congratulations to all involved and we can’t wait for something else like this to come along.
